David: Alien from the Planet Blizwick

Friends, many thanks for visiting me, David, the Alien from Planet Blizwick.

I presently live on Earth, but miss all my Blizwickian friends. If you are likewise from the Planet or know some fellow Blizwickians, please don't hesitate to contact me straight away

Otherwise, thank you for visiting me here in my virtual planet, Blizwick. There's a lot to see and do here, so kick back, relax, and prepare to stay a day or a lifetime, as it pleases you. You'll find our natives friendly, our officials informal, and our planet a relaxing but involving place to spend your time.

And even if you're not blessed enough to be Blizwickian, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm a very friendly alien. The odds are quite good that I won't turn into a giant lizard and bite you. Really.

Serious Stuff

Because we're left here on the earth, Communications are very important to us earth-bound Blizwickians. Check out our views, opinions and helpful information on Internet-related topics.

David's Dream House sends our intrepid reporter through the Los Angeles real estate jungle. But will he survive the attempt? Go see. New 16 July 1999

Even Blizwickians have to integrate into the Earth economy while we're waiting for the Great Spaceship to take us back to our beloved Planet. David does free-lance consulting for a variety of companies, and designs interesting web projects in his spare time. If you have something creative for him to do, by all means drop him a line. He will eventually have a web site for his freelance web page design business, but as usual he's too busy designing stuff to have it done. One of these days, I suspect.

Fun & Frivolity

Blizwick is a beautiful planet, with universally warm water, vast oceans, and beautiful tropical islands. Because of this, I have developed an interest in boats and cruising. Click there for my Cruisers' Corner, with boating essays and my FAQ on cruising the world. Sadly, I have yet to accumulate enough of the Earth money to buy a yacht, but rest assured: I'm working on it.

Want to see something pretty? Check out my portfolio of digital photographs, including those of the the Koi carp at Fashion Island and the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

Finally, for the truly curious, we have some information on the planet for your perusal.

Editorials & Opinions

Earth customs are so strange! Check out my opinions and information on the Earth government, an earth religious movement, and more.

Blizwick denizens have little tolerence for low quality, no matter how many people accept it as the normal state of things. We're particularly upset about the dominance of Microsoft products, featuring some of the worst software in the Universe. Blizwickians all over the universe prefer Apple (MacOS X) and SGI. We're also big fans of Mercedes-Benz automobiles

Visiting Blizwick & Contacting the Natives

Thanks for visiting us on Blizwick. Unfortunately, since there are no cameras on the Planet (our "light" is very different from yours), we cannot furnish you with pictures of Blizwick just yet. That will be an eternal mystery. But rest assured that the beauty and luxury of Blizwick is just not duplicated on the Planet Earth.

You can contact us - me, actually - in several different ways. Most straightforwardly, you can send me email. If you want to leave a comment for everyone to see or read other people's comments on my pages, visit the David's Web Pages conference on my "interesting" web page directory.

Visit us again sometime soon, when we'll have more on both Earth Matters and things Blizwickian.
