That's right, this page is a tribute to the fine Koi Carp that inhabit the pond at the Fashion Island shopping centre in Newport Beach.
I just happened to be wandering around there, wondering what to do with my new Canon XL1 MiniDV camcorder, when I happened to notice the antics of the koi carp in their lovely abode in Fashion Island. So I decided to take a picture or two.
Incidentally, if anyone knows anything about the species of Koi here, drop me a line. I'm curious to know what I photographed.
