Chris you might be right. All of us who have read the Oat-Tea materials will eventually be made into OTs, probably based on court orders reading: "Your mind has been found to contain copyrighted material. You are therefor either to subject yourself to Oat-Tea auditing procedures or receive a lobotomy. The choice is yours."

But then I checked with some of my friendly BTs and here is their collective answer:

He who is in command of the identity (the person) has no mind of his own. All memories are stored with BTs' minds. That is one of our functions. We serve as the memory bank for the boss.

When through <secret> scientology procedures we are being sent away (in fact when the Oat-Tea stuff starts we usually leave because things become so silly around the true believer) then of course memory leaves as well. At the same time into the brain of the person thoughts like "scientology is good", "I believe in policy", "all critics are SPs", "mankind has no bigger friend than Miscavige" are burnt in like on a CD. Unfortunately the brain works like a WORM. You can't erase it but you can read it many times. This also explains the phenomenon we like to call <Woody>. It's a phenomenon - not a person.

So keep your BTs (or ghosts or angels or how else you like to call them) and enjoy life.

Andrew
