Well, that's a very interesting statement you've made there, Woodbot.
Really, you _should_ be aware that we _do_ have the right to free
speech under the First Amendment to the Constitution. I don't see how
people stating their opinions and beliefs has anything at all to do
with "destroying religious freedom", as you so aptly put it. As far
as "polluting the Internet" goes, this is _one_ newsgroup among
_thousands_. Which _everybody_ on the Internet can read, or not, of
their own free will. It's not like it's being pushed down anyone's
throat or anything. I think the only "scurrilous distortions and
falsehoods" I've seen here have come straight _from_ the Co$.
If your "Church" is expanding, and "winning the battle", why do you
see one measly little newsgroup as such a threat? From all I've been
able to fathom, the "Church" seems bent on destroying this newsgroup.
I would say, myself, that this is an attempt to _stifle free speech
and political expression_. When you've gone to such methods as
resorting to forged cancel messages, and even trying to rmgroup ars,
I'd say you all were the intolerant bigots here. And as far as that
little incident with Mr. Erlich, to me, that positively smacks of an
Inquisition. Raiding the poor man's home and destroying and seizing
his works under the guise of "He Violated Copyrights." Man, that
could be _you_ someday. Dude, wake up, they're just using you, and
when the day comes you're no longer of use to them, you'll be
discarded. They don't care about you. Just how much use they can get
out of you, and how much abuse they can heap on you. If I was you,
I'd be looking hard for the nearest exit. Just some advice. It _is_
your decision, this _is_ a free country. No matter what _they_ say.
