M602 - Bridge to Nowhere: IIBy an105662@anon.penet.fi (The Squirrelle)Sat, 10 Jun 1995 13:14:38 UTC [M602 - Bridge to Nowhere: II] It's so blatantly false advertising that they advertise the "Bridge to Total Freedom" showing the OT levels to OT-15. When is Total Freedom achieved? At OT-8? If they use the argument that for some people TF is achieved at OT-8, it is possible in the other circumstances that a person can achieve TF at any point along The Bridge or, indeed, not achieve it until the so-called Unreleased Levels. Now, if you were to achieve OT-8 (and from what we've seen that's just not anything special), you would have to be thinking to yourself: "I have come thus far across the Bridge to Total Freedom" and yet I see there is still more. I cannot proceed further, yet there is more to learn." Quite rightly you'd feel disgruntled that they were holding back. Holding back after you spent half your life getting this far, seeing that chart for 10-15 years expecting, by all the claims of the Church of dramatic expansion, that you'd get to the top. Yet there it is, still static and teasing you for that few hundred grand you've already spent. So there it is. They'll sell you 2/3s of the whole shebang on the basis of Totality, Ultimate Freedom - but you can't do the last 7 levels (or as rumoured, the last 14 levels). It's like a faulty Video Game, an ultimate fantasy that when you get so far in the game you find it corrupted - and when you talk to the manufacturer they just say "We never thought anybody would get that far so we never added anything past that point." Well, it's the Church of Scientology that's taking us all as suckers, adding to their astronomical claims of achievement non-existent levels. The biggest Carrot-Dangle out for the best Mindfuck ever.
