Those new to a.r.s. may not know the definition of "jackfarmer", so I'll include it for you.

jackfarmer, verb - to spend a large amount of time and energy on something, while simultaneously claiming it to be unimportant

Named after Jack Farmer, who used to post dozens of messages a day to a.r.s., while often insisting that it was a total waste of time and that neither he nor the CoS had any interest in a.r.s.

Now, Chris, why are you jackfarmering? Why claim that no one is paying attention to a.r.s., when you and your fellow OSA members spend so much time and energy trying to handle it?

It sounds to me like a desperate case of wishful thinking. You've made a big error in your post to soc.women, and you know it. You know that a.r.s. readers are not going to let you get away with not explaining yourself. But you can't explain yourself, without admitting that you lied in your soc.women post.

You were supposed to handle the internet, but you failed to make it go right.

If only no one were paying attention to a.r.s., then you wouldn't be getting in big trouble for your failure here. You wouldn't be preparing to be sent to the RPF, preparing to eat table scraps, do menial labor, wear filthy rags, and run everywhere you go.

Why couldn't you make it go right?
