While I find your little Basic program extremely funny, I think you should be fair, and realize (as I have) that Woody, judging by his posts, is not a model human being in any way.

Anyways, a better analogy would be to discover that you were buried up to your head in dirt, and eventually found that you could dig yourself out, and thus be "clear" of that hole. That doesn't mean that you'll never fall into another hole again. You'd have to learn what a hole was and how one may fall into it, and how to recognize them (i.e. they're big vacant places in the dirt).

This is a really simple-minded example, but you get the point.
