I still don't get how the Cof$ thinks it is it's holy duty to purge the world of psychiatry and (in their non-expert opinion) mind altering drugs, and by the same measuring stick, declares that the people who were treated (benefit or not) are denied their 'freedom' as spiritual entities!

Since this 'freedom' is so highly touted by the Cof$, why the blanket rejection of anyone proven to be treated by a psych? Is it the person's fault he came under the administration of a shrink? And for this, the Cof$ denies them!

This has been said time and again, but it is a big hole in their great benevolent aura of concern that 'people' are rejected in favour of ideals. Indeed, while a person is still living there is hope, so why does the Cof$ simply peel off another DEAD sticker and slap it on people as they leave the care of the enemy?

The Church of Scientology ABANDONS people to psychiatry, where they could be using their supposedly advanced technology to help them.

The Church of Scientology APPEALS to the expertise of psychiatry, whose expert opinion is a measurement of acceptance.

So on what basis does Scientology seek to cancel and demolish the entire construct of internation mental health and supply nothing in return?

1. Convenience. Mentally disturbed people are trouble, and hard to treat. Ten thousand failed PCs armed with the regimen of TRs and other 'training' walking the streets would get them shut down. The fact is, they can't help them, so they don't.

2. Money. Scientology is for fluid people. It costs big bucks in anybodies language. With smart policies like '25 hours should cost 1 month's pay', you can see where the priority is. Not many crazy people have a good disposable income.

It's just another convenient 'truth' that Hubbard invented, that someone treated by psychs is mentally tainted, that someone pronounced crazy is unhelpable - all ineligible for the 'religious' spiritual side of Scientology.

Isn't it amazing how on the one hand, the 'Thetan' is the real driver behind life, and yet on the other hand the body takes precedence over it, giving even more weight to the physicality and mortality of man.

In a true religion, no man is denied the best that can be offered. Even murderers and hardened criminals have responded to ministerial help from mainstream religions. Scientology denies, always denies.

Scientology Says:

No! You criminals must be denied help! You are beyond help. But with "Criminon", we can pretend to help you and guide you into a little training. But no auditing for you!

Scientology Says:

No! You mentally ill people must be denied help! You are insane! But with "CCHR", we can pretend to be the saviour of the mentally disturbed and set them free - to fend for themselves. Our religious help is restricted to sane people only.

All the sales, the mythical trancendant 'states' of Clear and OT, the lies, the illegalities, the mis-spent millions, the harrassments, the propoganda, the expense, the elitism, the indoctrinations, the drills, the contract slavery, the hidden corporations, the tax evasion, the secret levels ...

It all adds up to DANGEROUS ANTISOCIAL CULT

No matter how much they beg you to believe otherwise, no matter how they show you their proofs of social benevolence via CCHR and Narconon and Criminon, no matter how may little 'success stories' they publish, no matter how many great statistics they point to - it is time to ask yourself why they do all that they do.

They can prove nothing (you even have to divide their 'public' statistics by 20 to start to believe them), not even their shining gems of Clear and OT.

Of course, unlike some 'Scientologists' (Churchies or not) who post on this board who think opinion is gold plated fact, let's get the facts straight.

OT has never been proven, but we'd like to see the reality of it.

CLEAR is a figment of demented imaginations, but we'd sure like to have a measureable result.

CLAIMS like 1.5 million (3 million worldwide is the latest news) people have been educated to read and write using the legendary Study Tech, but attempts to even find ONE South African child who can attest to this eminently measurable claim has failed (no 'religious' understanding required here) has failed. Even making reasonable requests in writing to the Church of Scientology has resulted in no answer and in fact, lies by nature of disassociation!

Can anyone *here* answer or provide proof? No? Then consider the above carefully. The Scientologists here, some with intent to mislead and others with genuine interest in the subject, are unable to give you proof on basic claims.

Indeed, if not for the broadly published lies of statistical magnitude, then at least ask yourself - by placing yourself in the hands of the Church of Scientology in full knowledge that even basic training and elementary auditing will cost you time and finance in years and tens of thousands of dollars - what and where will this get you?

It is time to look for proof. The claims have long been made and the topics have been talked to death.

Let us DEMAND that the easiest proof of all be produced in a timely manner, DEMAND that the Church of Scientology make good on it's claim of 1.5 million South African Children brought to a level of literacy.

This is an example of the kind of silence and disinformation that the Church of Scientology has become expert in. Be silent, or tell a few half-truths and keep misdirecting.
