Here's some selected states where CoS isn't expanding: Alaska: Only one org created 1978 Arizona: Only surviving org created 1974 California: Except for 3 years, 1984-1995 has seen continual decline in churches for net loss of 28 orgs Colorado: Nothing new since 1983 Connecticut: No new orgs since 1982 District of Columbia: Nothing new since 1985. Georgia: Stagnation/decline since 1990 Idaho: Only org died in 1985 Illinois: Recent new orgs only make up for decline in numbers since 1988 Indiana: Stagnation/decline in numbers since 1988 Iowa: Only org died 1994 Kansas: Only one org created 1994 Kentucky: Only one org created 1990 Louisiana: Stagnant - only surviving state org was created 1987 Maryland: Nothing new since 1987 Michigan: Last growth 1978, 3 orgs died 1985 Missouri: Last increase in orgs 1976, decline/stagnation since Nebraska: Only org still around was created 1993. Other 2 dead. Nevada: Decline - 7 orgs died, only 2 created since 1981.
