: Yet, there's also a Scientology-run school at Sheridan, Oregon: : The Delphian School.

: It's advertised in "Impact #59" (recent issue), the magazine of the IAS. : The ad says: "Prepare your children for their future. Ages 8-17 may enroll for boarding."

: Delphi, according to the ad, is licensed to use "Applied Scholastics", : the Co$-method of education.

Delphian and buys the mailing lists of childrens magazines in order to send its brochure out all over the country. When I recived "Cricket", a children's literary magazine, we would get a brochure every few months detailing the school's program. When I began looking for a prep school, the counselor I worked with had a huge box of material they had sent her: she said that she got a good laugh out of it.

As for the brochure itself, it never mentioned Scientology as such, although it was full of Ron-speak. One sentance that I still remember: "Delphian will allow your children to increase the level of causation in their lives using education as a tool." Yeaahhhh. . .

BTW, it should be noted that no other prep school in the country takes kids as young as Deliphian does (although I'd guess that a lot of the kids at Delphian are the children of SeaOrg members.) There are a handful of pre-prep schools which start in sixth grade, but even they are few and far between.
