I doubt you understand what a hassle the fund was evolving into. EFF has far less staff than you think, and they're damn busy on ordinary days. (I've visited there more than once...)

The plain logistics of segregating the incoming funds, cashing the checks, writing checks to Morrison, etc. was causing problems for other EFF programs.

Ha! Threatening big law firms is about as smart as mooning a cop.

At best, the cop will laugh at you, and more likely {s}he'll walk over & bust your ass. In a similar manner, Co$ shills can whimper & whine about Morrison, but who cares? If the firm was at all worried about the Co$ frothing, they'd not have taken the case!

If, however, Co$ tries to up the ante with real actions, they may well find it's not that easy.....
