[M564 - Freedom Magazine? Really?]

Vera, in a moment of forgetfulness said:

Vera> Did you know that FREEDOM just came out with an issue on the Vera> Internet? FREEDOM is an official publication from the Church Vera> and it provides coverage of what is going on on the Net.

Really? Funny, but I recall recent messages where a certain Scieno was swearing BLIND that the OSA and the Cof$ in general wasn't really interested in a.r.s. and that *IF* anyone was monitoring the net it was to keep an eye on copyright issues.

And now we have an entire issue on the NET. Let me point out a few things:

I predict that the rag considers the Internet an insecure and unlawful place because of the critics.

I predict that they say that once the net is cleared of SPs and persecutors that it will become a useful tool for lawful information dissemination. And can help us too with their Oh-Teh brand "Siftware" to help keep the net free of infringements.

I predict that the Scienos want to be friends of the Net, but like Interpol and the IRS, will do whatever they can to expose "corrupt" members of it who allow these nasty SPs to post whatever they want.

Vera> I have been reading it (hard copy) and it should be a real point of Vera> controversy to the detractors posting on ars.

Yeah? Say, you mean I can just pop into my local Scn Org and ask for a copy of FREEDOM?

HEY PEOPLE!

Let's make sure this magazine gets out to all the appropriate media people for due public comment. I'll send notes around OZ to call for this magazine, and get some people to request it locally.

We'll see. I'm sure we'll see pretty much the lot of what Woody, Vera, Milne and a couple more have already spammed us with about our religious HATE and what have you.

I can't wait. As per policy and pattern of times gone by, the Cof$, who brought us the Hard Facts on the IRS, Interpol and the entire Psych establishment, we now get the word on the Internet... Jeez.

I'm quite sure you'll manage to get all the key concepts in there. "Suppressive Persons," "Squirrels," and even mention FACTNet in passing. And mustn't forget the passing warning to enquiring minds to not get mixed up with the Ess-Pee elements.

See? I feel I've almost read it already. And you didn't ask me for a contributing article either! I am displeased. No example posts printed in there, perchance? I thought not. And not to forget all the good news about what Scn is doing to "handle" it.

Good luck, you'll need it. We're gonna have a field day with this one. Another few pages added to the latest anti-scientology book in the works...
