FAQ Wanted: What Is The Free Zone?

Many people are lurking in alt.religion.scientology these days. After "Bob" spoke to me yesterday, I learned that a project will be starting soon to get the word out to REAL Scientologists - not ClamBots (TM) like Woody, Talbot, Vera, and Milne - about the existence of a.r.s. Consequently, there will be many more Scientologists lurking here than there used to be.

This is an opportunity for the Free Zone to make its existence known to the mainstream membership of Scientology. It may be that when Scientologists begin reading this newsgroup en masse, they will see how corrupt their organization is, but they will still want to practice the "tech" in peace, without the likes of Miscavige or Heber Jentzsch (sp?) looking over their shoulders. That's where the Free Zone comes in.

Therefore, I would like to see a FAQ explaining the basic ideas and principles of the Free Zone, and how it offers an alternative to the so-called "church" of Scientology. This FAQ should be written with the newbie in mind - either lurker or Scientologist.

By making its existence known to Scientologists at large, the Free Zone will truly expand, and Scientology will become the real religion that you want it to be: a philosophy that ANYONE can practise if they so choose, without spending thousands of dollars. Not a money-making scam designed to make David Miscavige rich.
