Had I not been censored by barratrous threats of litigation to
my sysadmin and a simultaneous and illegal cancellation of all
other messages I have posted to the net which included six lines
of scripture from some silly thing called OT VII, quoted entirely
within my legal rights under 'fair use,' and which prompted the
most nasty and vicious campaign of lies and crimes ever to disgrace
the net, including cancellation forgeries which coincided almost
identically with letters from one "Helena Kobrin," a lawyer who is
suing Dennis Erlich, support.com, his net provider, and Netcom, 
the net provider of his net provider, concerning quotes which
vary from mine only in length.  Dennis Erlich quoted, also under
'fair use,' no more than two or three pages of similar 'sacred
trade secret' scripture in order to criticize it line by line 
and use it to reveal the odd psychology of the cult which calls
itself "Scientology," to return to the point, had I not been 
censored, the first six lines of this article would have been
the very six lines for which this message would be cancelled,
and for which I would have received another threat of litigation.

Helena Kobrin sent him a letter which amounted to identical 
threats as were contained in the letter sent to me, and were 
equally ridiculed.  Despite the outrageousness of the demands,
Dennis immediately replied and stated that he was willing to 
cancel the articles if Helena would identify them by Message-ID:
so that he could rectify the situation, had he indeed violated
any law.  

Those who have received a _billet-doux_ from Helena may feel 
highly amused, and that this is the most absurd thing they've
ever seen on the net, a matter worthy of jeers and catcalls.
However, listen to Dennis' story.

After doing as I have done and indicated willingness to comply
to this letter, Dennis was instead awoken one dark day to the 
knockings of off-duty cops, cultists, hired computer geeks and
cult lawyers, with weapons and a writ of search and seizure, 
demanding that he open the door and allow them to raid his
house, despite no Federal Marshal being present, as is regular
in seizures of this sort.

The writ, from Judge Whyte, specified that suspected copyrighted
materials belonging to the Religious Technology Center be seized
to prevent their further dissemination, and nothing more.  

Dennis Erlich was forced to watch, appalled, as the raiders 
devastated his home, searching his computer for any mention
of Scientology, and as his files were copied and deleted 
before his eyes, damaging it so badly that it could not even
boot Windows after they were done, taking hair from hairbrushes, 
taking bank statements, taking lists of phone numbers of trusted
friends, some of whom were later harassed by phone, behaving
in a threatening and menacing manner, and raping his civil
liberties in the full view of the public.

So don't laugh.  We've all had a ha-ha now at the absurd and
outrageous demands of this cult, and the ridiculous letters
that they send out from cult lawyers, but recall that Helena
Kobrin is in fact now engaged in barratrous litigation against
Dennis Erlich, support.com, and even Netcom itself, based on
allegations as palpably lunatic as the ones you have received,
and for quoting as entirely within his rights as everyone else
who has posted the six lines.

Dennis Erlich has lost his job, lost his house, and been 
mercilessly harassed at every moment since this lawsuit has
been filed against him.  This vicious cult has done it's best
to destroy him, smearing him as a deadbeat dad, despite having
deliberately broken up his family and filed multiple frivolous
lawsuits against him, and having nearly bankrupted him.  It has
done everything from such ridiculous harassment as stealing the
light bulbs from the outside of his house, to bizarre smear
campaigns against him accusing him of being everything from 
a chronic wife-beater to a killer of children's pets.  

Dennis Erlich could be you.  Dennis Erlich is all of us, whether
we care enough to realize it or not.
