threatening to sue a freenet REALLY ticks off the net, because
it cuts to the heart of that which is the core ethos of net culture,
the notion of freedom of speech unfettered by the restrictions of
self-appointed vigilantes.  

and that's the hot button that we need to push like a cocaine-starved
rat.  the net does not tolerate such vicious attacks, nor does it
tolerate spamming lawyers who email spam threats to practically 
everyone on the net.  

the astute reader will recall PRECISELY what happens to spamming
lawyers.  spamming lawyers are destroyed.
