---Begin quote from issue #47 of _KSW News_, published by the

Religious Technology Center. This quote is "fair use" for commentary. ---

Due to a report from a Scientologist, RTC learned that some suppressives in Mexico had published a booklet containing false reports about Dianetics and Scientology. And if that wasn't enough of an overt, they used the Dianetics Symbol in doing so. RTC had official letters sent to the editor and publisher, warning them that legal actions addressing their unauthorized use of the Dianetics Symbol and the marks "Dianetics" and "Scientology" would soon begin. As a result, the publisher scrambled to withdraw all booklets from circulation, thus eliminating this source of false information about the Church.

Under similar circumstances, most trademark holders would start with a polite letter informing the publisher of trademark infringement and asking the publisher not to repeat the infraction.

Instead, Scientology immediately threatens a lawsuit and manages to browbeat the publisher into suppressing an unfriendly book.

Does anyone know more about this case? What was the title of this booklet, and who published it?

Any chance we could get the text of this booklet on-line, and maybe even cross-posted to a.r.s. and soc.culture.mexican?
