I think there's a slight culture gap in operation here.

When Robert Marcus suggested that Diane Richardson dig her own grave, he was referring to the tone scale. Robert _has_ to believe that a person so set against scientology is hiding a great spiritual sickness which will soon kill her. When he says "I will never fear to harm another in a just cause," he is quoting the creed of scientology. It was L. Ron Hubbard himself who said "never fear to harm another in a just cause." This should be added to the accusations of "end justifies means" behavior which is levelled by scientologists against critics. The end never justifies the means, and this statement of Robert's is just another example of the close, bigoted mindset that scientology seems to encourage.
