Read the Electronic Frontier Foundation's Web page, <a href="http://www.eff.org/pub/EFF/Legal/Cases/CoS_v_the_Net/">http://www.eff.org/pub/EFF/Legal/Cases/CoS_v_the_Net/</a>It's full of legal papers filed by both sides in this lawsuit.

Go to your nearest public or university library, and look at a hard- or microfilm-copy of The Los Angeles Times for Tuesday, February 14, 1995. Front page of the Metro section, I believe.

If that's not enough proof for you, I don't know what is.
