This may be the first time that someone is trying to assemble the complete (or nearly complete) litigious history of CoS. It will be a very valuable resource for various purposes, including the establishment of barratry. My personal estimate is that all the legal actions filed by CoS in the U.S. alone will number well over 10,000. The cost to the U.S. taxpayer for supporting all these (mostly) frivolous lawsuits may amount to over a hundred million dollars.

Keep up the good work. And be sure to keep the comm-lines open to Usenet as I'm sure what your doing will be attacked by CoS. Just look at how CoS is getting egg on their face by their attacks on Grady and others, all because of the rapid communication via the Internet. They now face the possibility that Eugene Ingram, their number one PI, will be arrested, all because of Usenet and the Internet. As I've said before, CoS should declare victory and just drop *all* action against individuals and organizations on the Internet. Had they done so from the beginning, a.r.s. would still be a little-known backwater newsgroup with low volume. Instead, it is now one of the hottest newsgroups on Usenet and will continue to be for some time. The only way CoS can handle a.r.s. now is to quit fighting it -- instead they should be devoting all their energy working on their Web site.
