--While I certainly understand your irritation at the unceasing efforts to sell the "religion" of Scientology, I disagree with efforts to squelch the dissemination of *any* information. It seems to me that everyone is best served if allowed free access to ALL information.

I also realize that the Scientologists do not follow this, but instead try to ply books and advertisings for Scientology on the public while doing everything they can --and by any means, not all honorable--to prevent any critical information from being disseminated. So it is very tempting to engage in a guerilla warfare in which you try to stop their information--after all, if they do it, they should be subject to it! HOWEVER, I think we need to ask ourselves if we are willing to hold ourselves to standards as low as Scientologists are willing to tolerate for themselves. For me, the answer is no! It is bad enough that Scientology diminishes the ethical behavior of those who get sucked into it; let's not add to that effect by allowing it to lower the standards of those who oppose it. And for me what is ethical and right is the free distribution of ALL information.
