Hi Dennis,

People in this newsgroup might not really be aware of Andrew Burt's situation, so maybe it'll help to know it.

NYX, the system he runs, exists as an adjunct to the University of Denver. It uses some donated equipment, etc. from them and other sources and obviously operates under the University's domain (du.edu), at least name wise. As last I recall, it's under the Math and Science Department.

From what I remember when I signed on there, it's a balancing act. Simply put, if NYX causes enough trouble for the University of Denver, they could very well kill NYX. I can certainly understand why Mr. Burt isn't willing to play hero on this case. This situation is made clear to everyone who signs up for NYX, including henry, who apparently understands it well.
