Oooh! A whole rash of the "Incomm Computer Banks" issuance alert and weekly report forms have miraculously appeared before me. You'd know about these, OSA boy Milne? Of course you would.

These forms are made for computer scanning, I guess OCR and mark. Looks like they don't have Data Entry people. I bet.

Let's see. Staff Requesting to Leave...

This ones a series of steps, the first four to see why he wants to leave, including a little application of the tech where required - interviews for PTSness and a few handlings along the way. Oh, and an HCO Confessional. No use accepting he just wants to leave.

Quoting section 2b "Have the staff member read HCO PL 7 Dec 76 Leaving and Leaves so he knows fully that he is not to communicate to others concerning his desire to leave." we can all see that LRH didn't want others to get the same idea too quickly!

The remaining 5 steps deal partly with handing the job over to someone else and the rest with charging him for his freeloader's bill and whatever else can be tracked down, ultimately to get him to either pay it on the spot (where's a Staffer gonna get somewhere between $5,000 to $50,000 or more from anyway?) and get him to sign for it.

And a little note for the person filling out the form:

"Failure to use this routing form or failure to turn in this issuance alert when it is issued or a failure to turn in the routing form when it bogs or completes are all detectable by computer on other channels and in other ways could result in an investigation and probable disciplinary action."

Damn right.

Oh, and Milne? The form number is 0108 008432 1 which I guess is the form identifier for the computer. Incomm Computer Banks? Very Sci-Fi...

And one of the other forms? "How to get back on the Bridge(tm)" - a ripping yarn of success in locating "the true reason a student or preclear fell off The Bridge(tm)" in six easy steps.

Some are partly filled out, and the admonitions to write the numbers and letters as shown is totally ignored. Yes folks, the tech really works at my local Org.
