In my current batch of goodies, I found out the Cof$ has tried or is trying to set up a Hubbard Method School in Perth under the guidance of the Effective Education Association of WA Inc. (EEA)

I've checked the phone book but can't find a listing for it. It is probably defunct as Perth is a bit small for this and their aims would have fallen afoul of FUNDS primarily.

Wayne Furness is cited with two others as contacts (and their phone numbers). Wayne Furness is/was a Perth Scieno. Locally interested people can e-mail me for the phone numbers if a followup is required.

There were, in 1990, two Hubbard Schools listed, Yarralinda in Melbourne (where else with a name like that) and Athena in Sydney.

EEA: A quote or two from the newsletter of August 1990...

"This makes it easier for us in Perth as the way has already been paved [re Melbourne and Sydney]"

"[re tutoring] This can be a very rewarding pastime for anyone familiar with Study Tech and a means of supplementing income."

I bet. But considering the current state of the org, it doesn't appear to have worked too well.
