Well, Well, Well. It's like someone took a 4 drawer filer from the Executive Directors office at the local org and said "Hey Squirrelle! Have a look at this!"

In my latest box of stuff from my 1990 acquisition of Cult papers, there was a list of people who had processing and auditing -- and their phone numbers. Approximately 160 names on the books... Not many, is it? Plus, all the staff names. 16 Staff in 1990 -- 3 of them from one family for PED Org.

The bent part about it is that out of 160 people in a city of a million people, I had been speaking to one of these 3 weeks ago giving them tech support. Tech Support! Geez, if I had known they were Scienos, instead of saying RTFM, I could have said "word clear MODEM and *Rate FILES"...

Maybe PEF has the same number on their list. Maybe I have that too. If I am really REALLY *REALLY* slack about the number of people they've processed (and still contactable and active), I might allow them 500 people they've Purif'd and Audited and hard-sold over the years to a fair degree. Add 20% bonus count for the US (more fruitcakes) and multiply by 80 - and we have 50,000 people, a good approximation of the worldwide membership, plus staff, of course.

Might be more, but we all doubt it, don't we?

I have a lot of confidence in the above. You see, I also have a lot of TELEXES with operating targets and non-compliance actions against the ED and others. Suffice it to say, they couldn't find 2 Auditors to rub together for the HGC and to quote one telex: "Your org is now insolvent."
