Woody runs off the same newsfeed I do, and I most certainly saw a large number of the Squirelle's postings in the last week. The only explanation I can come up with is that he has write-only access to this group, and that one of his handlers told him to write that the Squirelle had stopped posting. One of the characteristics of authoritarian organizations is that the people who hold power in them get all their information from people whose status in the organization depends on telling the leaders what they want to hear, whether or not it's true. After a while, the leaders start to believe that things are going the way they want them to, and make decisions according to those beliefs. This usually becomes their undoing; imagine driving a car with a magic windshield that always shows you centered in your lane, regardless of your actual position. Eventually you crash.
