Yes, and because the criminal cult of scientology can only prosper in an environment where there exists confused, depressed, disenfranchised people, the criminal cult of scientology's attempts at expansion become predictable.

They are a poisonous bacteria looking for an environment in which they can prosper. And wherever the criminal cult prospers, you will find emotionless, non-feeling, non-thinking people, their humanness stolen.

No shit.

It's done by various designs that effectively promise the dupe some hope of something that would naturally be very difficult to attain, mostly various forms of power and control, things like magical powers, administrative power, the power of the group, power over individuals, etc.

No powers ever come about. The criminal cult of scientology accounts for this failure by accusing the dupe of incorrectly applying the ``tech.'' The dupe did it wrong. That's why it didn't work. His ethics must have been out, or maybe he was just one of those impotent thetans. It was his fault.

The last part there, the part where the dupe gets blamed, that's the essential element for hard-core, deep-down, mind-fucking, blood-curdling emotional abuse. It's standard operating procedure within scientology.

Perhaps we have part of the answer as to why the criminal cult of scientology always gets designated the most vicious, most cruel, and most damaging of all cults.
